Homegrown two-wheeler maker, Mahindra has released a new teaser image of its upcoming BS6-compliant Mojo 300 ABS. The 2020 Mahindra Mojo 300 BS6 has already been spotted testing. The teaser confirms that the motorcycle will be launched in the next couple of months.
For people not in the know, Mahindra had introduced the Mojo 300 ABS in 2019. It is expected that the Mojo 300 BS6 motorcycle will receive few design changes to offer fresh look. The teaser shows the darkened Mojo, which doesn’t reveal much about the changes. It is likely to receive minor design changes along with new colour options.
The upgraded Mahindra Mojo will be equipped with a single-exhaust muffler. However, the exhaust system will come with an additional catalytic convertor to meet the new BSVI emission norms. The BS4 version was powered by the 294.72cc, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that is capable of producing 26.29bhp at 7,500rpm and 28Nm of torque at 5,500rpm.
The Mahindra Mojo 300 BS6 is likely to retain the twin-headlamp setup. Suspension mechanism will comprise of telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear. The motorcycle will receive disc brakes at both ends. It will ride on alloy wheels. It is likely to be priced around Rs 2 lakh, which will make it direct rival to the Bajaj Dominar 400.
