Apple’s next low cost iPhone, The iPhone 9 or iPhone SE2 as Apple will name it was expected to be launched by the end of March, however reliable sources reveal that the launch of the new low cost iPhone has been postponed and the delay is due to the widespread of Covid-19 Virus. Reliable sources confirmed that the mass production of iPhone 9 was stated to be started in February at Apple’s Production facility in China. However due to the widespread of COVID-19 virus in China, Apple had to delay its launch.
Along with the launch of iPhone 9, Apple was also expected to launch a new iPad Pro with some other hardware. The event was believed to be held at Apple’s campus in California and streamed online. California has put a ban on large scale events due to widespread COVID-19 virus.
The iPhone 9 is believed to be a low cost iPhone for the masses with all the advanced features. However it won’t have the Face ID and will feature a Traditional Fingerprint scanner. The new iPad Pro on the other hand will feature a Triple Lens camera and a 3D time of flight sensor that will be used for Augmented Reality Applications.
