The new Creta 2020 BS6 is finally here. The South Korean Car Maker has officially launched the new vehicle in Indian market today. The Creta 2020 shares same platform as that of the Kia Seltos. The new vehicle will be offered in 14 variants with prices starting from as low as Rs. 9.99 Lakh for the base petrol variant and goes all upto Rs. 17.20 lakh for the range topping diesel automatic (all prices, Ex-Showroom India). Do note that the prices are introduction as for now.
Under the hood, the all new Creta 2020 gets three engine variants. A 1.5L MPi Petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 115 ps, A 1.5L U2 CRDi Diesel engine with a maximum power of 115ps and a 1.4L Turbo Petrol Kappa Engine that produces a maximum power of 140ps. While the first two engine options will be offered in both manual and automatic transmissions, the latter will be offered only with an automatic transmission (DCT).
The new vehicle comes with a large sized voice enabled Panaromic Sunroof that can also be seen in the MG Hector, a Twin Tip exhaust, Rear Seat Recliner and a bunch of other loaded luxuries. The new vehicle will compete with the likes of the Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Tata Harries and the Nissan Kicks.
Creta 2020 has already received more than 12000 bookings during the one week of its pre booking period and The new Creta 2020 will surely cause a hit to the high sales volume of its sister concern’s offering The Kia Seltos.
