The next gen Creta 2020 is barely 2 days away from its launch in the Indian Automobile sector. It has already received more than 10000 bookings since the time the bookings of the vehicle were officially opened. Here we bring you detailed first impressions about the new vehicle along with leaked brochure and other important details.

Engine Options
Under the hood, the new Creta 2020 comes with three engine options. A 1.5L MPI Petrol Engine, 1.5L U2 CRDi Diesel Engine and a 1.4 L Kappa Turbo Petrol Engine. While 1.5L petrol and 1.5L diesel comes with both manual and automatic variants, the 1.4 L kappa turbo petrol engine will only come with Automatic Transmission.

With the new 1.4 l Petrol, 1.5 l Petrol and 1.5 l Diesel BS6 engines under the hood, the All New CRETA delivers a power packed performance on every terrain. Be it on the road or off it, the All New CRETA has the dynamism to go the distance. The new CRETA comes with three terrain modes i.e. SNOW, SAND and MUD. It also packs Drive Mode Select (ECO, COMFORT & SPORT).
The new vehicle comes with some of the segment first features like Rear Seat Headrest Cushion, Twin Tip Exhaust(Turbo variant only), Paddle Shifters adding to both the luxury and comfort of the rear passengers.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The new CRETA 2020 packs in the ultimate sound experience for an SUV. The vehicle has a 10.25 inch HD infotainment system with 8 speaker Bose Premium Sound System. The infotainment system is very smooth to use and is not laggy at all. The system also packs in Hyundai’s patented Blue Link connectivity. It has Apple Car Play and Android Auto that has become a common feature these days in all the infotainment systems.
It also has a Smartphone Wireless Charger, steering mounted audio controls, voice recognition, bluetooth and a sub woofer.
The Blue Link technology has been updated as from the one that was seen in the Venue and now comes with 50+ features.
Safety
The All new CRETA 2020 comes with rear disc brakes, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Assist control and all other major safety features the details of which can be checked in the official Brochure attached in the this post. The vehicle comes with an electronic parking brake which can be seen in high segment premium cars.
Dimensions
The new CRETA 2020 is 4300 mm long which makes it 30 mm longer than the previous generation. The height of the vehicle has been slightly increased by 5 mm from the previous generation to 1635 mm and the overall width has been increased to 1790 mm.
The wheelbase of the vehicle has been increased by 20 mm to 2610 mm.
Color Variants
The new Creta comes in various color options like Typhoon silver, Polar White, Red Mulbery, Galaxy Blue, Lava Orange, Phantom Black and Titan Grey. However the Turbo variant has only three color variants- Polar White with Phantom Black Roof, Lava Orange with Phantom Black Roof and Deep Forest.

Interiors
The all new CRETA 2020 comes with a large size Voice Enabled Panoramic Sunroof. It also comes with soothing blue ambient lighting, front row ventilated seats and an Air Purifier in the centre armrest. The interior comes in two options- A two tone black and greige interiors and an All Black Interiors with Orange Color Pack.
The dashboard has been given a leather kind finish which gives it an extremely upmarket feel. The vehicle is solidly built and the plastics are heavy.
AC vents has been nicely designed which seems to be inspired from Volvo AC vents. The cabin feels roomy and is a nice place to relax with a 2 step Rear recliner.

The new CRETA 2020 comes in 14 variants with 3 engine options. The base variant has been named E like in the Old CRETA and the Top variant name has been kept to SX(O). A detailed variant wise feature breakup can be seen below



CRETA 2020 Price
The New CRETA 2020 official prices will be announced at the time of its launch on 16th March, however the prices are expected to be around 10-17 Lacs INR.
