However the Company has incorporated Regenerative braking technology in the scooter that is believed to add a 2.8 meter range everytime the driver goes from 60-0Kmph.
The scooter is offered along with a home charging port included in the price of the vehicle.

The Ather 450 is a product of a Bengaluru based Tech Startup, Ather Energy which was started back in 2013 by two IITians.
This eScooter was the one that changed what Electric Scooters meant in India with some top-of-the-line features.
The vehicle is powered by a 2.4kWh Lithium-ion battery.
The company calls it an ever improving scooter as it can get new software features, enhanced performance and firmware updates without taking it to the service centre.
The vehicle comes with a 3 year unlimited KMs warranty and three driving modes- Eco, Ride and Sports.
The most attractive thing about the Ather 450 is the inclusion of a 7 inch touchscreen that makes the vehicle look extremely cool and one of its kind.

Revolt Electric Bike
Revolt RV 400 and RV 300 was launched by Revolt Motors in India at a base price of Rs. 98,999 in August 2019 however the prices were later hiked on by Rs. 5,000.
The eBike was launched in Delhi, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Chennai and was the first electric motorbike to be launched in the country.
Unlike other electric vehicles, Revolt went a step further and introduced the My Revolt Plans through which the bikes can be bought by paying a monthly EMI and no upfront payment.
It is India’s First AI Enabled Bike and can produce four different sounds to make it sound like a Conventional motorbike.
Revolt RV 400 comes with a home charger that can be plugged into any 15A power socket. It houses a 3.24kWh battery that can provide a range upto 150kms. on a single charge.

Revolt Bikes come with a Warranty of 8 years or 1.5Lakh km. which makes them the highest warranty offering eBikes in the country.

TVS iQube Electric Scooter
iQube the latest offering from TVS Motors in India is a fully electric scooter that has a top speed of 78 kmph.
iQube features a completel LED design headlamps along with LED taillamps. It also has a Forward and Backward assist along with USB charging port and ample storage space.
TVS iQube also has the TFT display in the panel just like the Ather however it is not so updated like the Ather and does not support OTA updates for the vehicle.
The vehicle has a 75 km range on a single charge with a top speed of 78kmph.
However TVS has just restricted the vehicle to Bangalore for a start with a pricing or rs, 1,15,000 on road in Bangalore.
Avon Electric Scooters
Avon e-Bikes are the cheapest among all the bikes listed above. It starts at around Rs. 47,000 however these don’t house the Lithium-ion batteries like the latest offerings in the market.
It is available through local dealers at dealer specific prices. These electric scooters don’t have high speeds and also have low range. Also they do not have any of the tech features unlike their other competitors
There are many other Electric scooters being offered by local manufacturers in the country at various places including many of the small cities.
Some of the local manufacturers have even copied the designs of the Scooters like the Bajaj Chetak and also included Lithium-ion batteries in them however the reliability of these scooters is unknown.
