Honda City has always been an all time favourite car of Indians since the time of its launch in India in 1998. Honda Cars India will announce the new BS6 compliant City sometime in the next month, the car which was first to be released this month was postponed due to widespread of COVID-19 fare. Ahead of its official launch next month, the car has been spied for the first time uncamouflaged on the Indian roads.Ā
It can be clearly seen from the photo that the new vehicle will feature a set of new alloy wheels design along with Beige interiors. The rear end also features a new LED light design with a changed bumper styling. The car sits on same platform as that of previous generation.
Under the hood the new vehicle will come up with a BS6 compliant 1.5L Petrol engine. The deliveries of BS6 compliant 1.5L diesel motor is expected to start sometime later than the Petrol motor. Some sources even reveal that a 1.5L mild hybrid engine will also be added in the future.
The new City will come in three variants and with two gearbox options for both Petrol and Diesel.Ā
