Since India is lockdown till 14th April due to COVID-19 and it is impacting every other business. Automobile market is not the exception besides getting a major hit due to unsold BS4 stock as well. Tata motors comes up with great initiative. Company started online pre-bookings to make best of this lockdown period. Customers can book a car online and additionally get it deliver at home like every e commerce products sites.Ā
A video explaining how to do online booking
Tata Motors recently released above video on website, explaining the digital process how to do online booking? Customers can browse the cars and select the chosen car, locality, dealer and book online. After booking is confirmed, with the token amount starting from Rs. 5000 for Tiago and going up to Rs. 30,000 for Harrier, your preferred dealer will contact you to begin the buying process.
The dealership person will help you through best offers, price quotation, financing option, and even give you an estimate on an old car. Everything will happen over voice or video calls to be in touch with you to make purchase effectively. There is also option to apply for car loan. You can also do registration of BS4 cars here.
When all process is complete you can either pick from dealer or get it home delivered.
So far you can avail this online facility for all Tiago, Altroz, Tigor, Nexon and the Harrier BS6 models. This online process is already started and you can book it right now. Of course, the registration and delivery process will begin after the lockdown.
Many car companies had offered online facility for test drives, online pre-booking but this is first time Tata comes up with home delivery. This may not give you best feel of the vehicle like traditional test drives, while process seems smooth and easy.
