How do you calibrate Samsung health Monitoring App for Blood Pressure?
To get blood pressure readings, this App should be calibrated by you with a traditional cuff with advanced sensor technology on the Galaxy Watch Active 2. You should be in a relaxing or resting position. Once your galaxy watch is calibrated, you can simply tap the smart watch to smoothly measure your BP. This smart watch relies on optical heart-rate sensor to track blood pressure through pulse wave analysis. After this procedure, the App will analyze the initial stored calibration value and the blood pressure difference to determine the BP. Samsung recommends to repeat calibration process every 1 month.
This complete process takes four steps:
Step 1: By using traditional cuff method, take your Blood pressure readings and enter the readings into your watch.
Step 2: Do take the second and third measurement for accuracy.
Step 3: After this, your calibration process is finished. You can now check BP on your watch.
Step 4: Tap on measure on your watch and your reading process will start
Note: Do remember, to wear the watch on the opposite wrist of your BP machine. Sit still, don’t talk or move. Don’t change any medications based on these readings as first always ask your doctor.
