Honda Cars India is all set to unveil the New WRV 2020 in India on March 30. The new vehicle will go on sale in India the next month with BS6 engines and some cosmetic updates.
Bookings for the new vehicle with a refundable deposit of Rs. 21000 has commenced on all the dealers of Honda Cars India. Ahead of the official launch, a transport department document has leaked online. The document reveals some of the details about the new WRV along with the engine specifications.
As it can be cleared seen from the leaks, the new vehicle will be powered by the same old 1199cc petrol motor that has been made compliant with BS6 norms. WRV is also expected to get few cosmetic updates like a new front grille, updated front and rear lights with inclusion of LED and projectors.
As seen in the current variant, the new WRV 2020 will get a 7.0 inch touchscreen with an addition of Apple Car Play and Android Auto, an electric sunroof, LED with DRL, push start stop button and a cruise control. From the safety point the vehicle will get two airbags, ABS, rear parking sensors with a rear parking camera. The price might be a little high than the current outgoing vehicle. At present the ex-showroom prices of WRV starts at Rs. 8.08 lakh and goes upto Rs. 10.48 lakh.
The new WRV will compete with Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue and Mahindra XUV 300.
